Working At Heights

Working at height training is a mandatory safety program designed to prevent fatalities by educating workers on identifying hazards, using protective equipment, and implementing safe procedures. Courses cover ladder safety, scaffolding, harnessing, and rescue plans. With the potential for severe accidents in this work environment, this training is fundamental to ensuring workplace safety.

Course Details

The Working At Height courses we offer are aimed at operators with different levels of ability. We are able to cater for both novice and experienced handlers. We also offer refresher courses.

This can vary depending on the experience level and the number of candidates completing the course. For a novice with no prior experience, a typical course can last around half a day, and for the more experienced handler, courses including the conversion course can be completed within half a day. A refresher course can be completed on the same day, aslong as the candidate has an in-date certificate within the previous 5 years

This will depend on what level of experience the candidates have already reached. The list below explains what course is best suited to each candidate;

Novice course - The novice course is designed for the candidate who has had no previous experience in yard safety

Experienced course - The experienced course is designed for the candidate who has previous experience in yard safety but cannot evidence previous accredited training.

Refresher course - The refresher course is designed for candidates wishing to extend their current certificate (Handlers must have an in-date certificate within the previous 5 years)
