Harness Training

Safety harness training is crucial for workers at heights, covering proper donning, adjustment, inspection, and maintenance of full-body harnesses to prevent fall-related injuries. Training includes identifying hazards, ensuring a snug fit, and understanding fall protection components. The purpose of harness training is to prepare your workers for real-world scenarios where fall protection is critical. This is critical for construction, maintenance, and tasks performed at elevated positions.

Courses we offer

  • These courses are suitable for anyone who will be using harnesses at home or at work

Course Details

The Harness Training courses we offer are aimed at operators with different levels of ability. We are able to cater for both novice and experienced handlers. We also offer refresher courses.

This can vary depending on the experience level and the number of candidates completing the course. For a novice with no prior experience, a typical course can last around 1 days, and for the more experienced handler, courses including the conversion course can be completed within the same day. A refresher course can be completed on the same day, aslong as the candidate has an in-date certificate within the previous 5 years

This will depend on what level of experience the candidates have already reached. The list below explains what course is best suited to each candidate;

Novice course - The novice course is designed for the candidate who has had no previous experience in the use of harnesses

Experienced course - The experienced course is designed for the candidate who has previous experience in yard safety but cannot evidence previous accredited training.

Refresher course - The refresher course is designed for candidates wishing to extend their current certificate (Handlers must have an in-date certificate within the previous 5 years)
