Lift Truck Attachments

Forklift attachments enhance a lift truck's capabilities, allowing it to handle various materials and perform specialised tasks. Common types include fork extensions, sideshifters, rotators, and clamps (like paper roll clamps, bale clamps, and carton clamps). Other notable attachments are push-pull, multiple pallet handlers, and load extenders. Custom and specialised attachments, like snow plows and work platforms, are also available

Course Details

The lift truck attachment courses we offer are aimed at operators with different levels of ability. We are able to cater for both novice and experienced handlers. We also offer conversion and refresher courses.

This can vary depending on the experience level and the number of candidates completing the course. For a novice with no prior experience, a typical course can last for 1 day, and for the more experienced handler, courses including the conversion course can be completed within half a day. A refresher course can be completed on the same day, aslong as the candidate has an in-date certificate within the previous 5 years

This will depend on what level of experience the candidates have already reached. The list below explains what course is best suited to each candidate;

Novice course - The novice course is designed for candidates who have had no previous experience on this equipment

Experienced course - The experienced course is designed for candidates who hav previous experience on this type of equipment but cannot provide evidence of a previous accredited training certificate

Conversion course - The conversion course is designed for candidates who have previous experience working on a similar piece of equipment to the counterbalance truck

Refresher course - The refresher course is designed for candidates wishing to extend their current certificate (Handlers must have an in-date certificate within the previous 5 years)
